If you have kids, then you’ll most likely agree that New Years Eve celebrations aren’t quite what they used to be.

So let me share some fun and empowering rituals you can introduce to your family that will help you welcome the new year in with a fresh and positive vibe.

Regardless of whether or not this year has been kind to you, it’s a good idea to reflect on it and see it out with a positive and grateful mindset, so you can welcome in the new year with an open heart, oozing positive vibes and ready to manifest all your dreams.

What on earth am I talking about, you ask?

Each year on December 31st, we gather together with our kids and reflect on our whole year.

It’s a lot of fun remembering all the fun things we did, places we went, achievements, proud moments, new adventures.

We then write down as many of these we can think of, focusing on all the positive aspects from the year just gone.

Trust me, once you start, you’ll be amazed at how many things you write down!

Then for the fun part…

While we are sitting in all that positive energy, we start writing out what we would like to wish for in the coming year.

Things like;

  • what fears we want to conquer
  • where we’d like to visit
  • adventures we’d like to go on
  • new things we’d love to learn
  • new friends we’d like to make
  • holidays we’d like to go on
  • new things we’d like to try
  • goals we’d like to achieve

There is no limit to what you can manifest. As long as you hold a high vision and strong intention, anything is possible!

What next?

You can put your new year wishes away and revisit them in 12 months time to see how many things on your list you managed to manifest – this is really fun to do.

We go one step further and wait for the next New Moon and weave our wishes in to a New Moon ceremony. If you’re not familiar with what this is, you can read about how to do it here with our Moon Kits.

So give this a try – you’ll end the year with you and your kids feeling really positive and with lots of intentions set for the coming year too.

Happy manifesting!

oh, and Happy New Year!
