This is a unique, beautiful program created to help kids build a positive mindset, develop a strong sense of self love, gratitude and strengthen their emotional/social well being.
As a Mother of three young children, I draw on my own gentle parenting skills to tune in to kids, nurture their spirit and hold space for them to shine their own light.
Along with my regular practice of yoga and meditation, I am also a trained Mindfulness Teacher and will be using these powerful tools to teach kids how to navigate life with clarity, calm and ease.
Over the course of our 10 week program, a new tool will be introduced each week and implemented through fun, engaging activities teaching powerful life skills:
- recognising and controlling big emotions
- how to still the mind
- how to connect and ground yourself with nature
- controlling anxiety and fears
- forgiving and moving forward
- the power of mindfulness
- mindful movement
Each week we will gather as a special circle, connect, share, learn how to wholeheartedly listen to each other without judgement and empower ourselves with the tools to live with confidence and an open heart.
After completing the program, each child will have the knowledge, skills and confidence to calm big emotions; anxiety, fears and anger using simple but powerfully effective tools.
